I took a clear blue easy pregnancy test and...?

Well i have been feeling off lately, my b***s have been hurting a little and we are trying but i thought first month off birth control, not gonna happen SO UNTIL this morning i got up and as soon as i stood up i felt BLAH dizzy and nauseous and i had like a cold sweat thing going on still do, i stoped and got a box of tests(clear blue easy digital) and it said Not Pregnant BUT my sister in law said to take it apart and look at the lines to see if there was a faint line it just didnt pick up which i did it RIGHT after it said not pregnant, and there is a VERY VERY faint blue line my period isnt due till monday but i couldnt wait! So anyone have this happen and be pregnant? I am going to take the second one tomorrow with FIRST morning urine! O and this morning i didnt use the FIRST morning urine i used the 2nd. Thanks For reading.

take one that isnt digital... most cases the digitals are less sensitive

i actually called the number on the box, because i was told to do the same thing. what they told me was that your not supposed to take the test apart. just wait and see what your next test brings! good luck to you!

You are not supposed to take the digital test apart. Those lines don't mean anything about whether the test is positive or not. Wait and test after you miss your period and see what happens. Good luck!

Youre in the exact same boat as me right now. i have been feeling off all month, and i finally went and bought a clear blue digial test today, and took it with my second urine of the day, because i just couldnt wait until tomorrow. Mine also read not pregnant. My period is also due on sunday/monday.

I read that you should not take apart pregnancy tests. It wont help at all.

I think you're best chance is to just wait and see if youre period comes to retest. it still might be too early. Don't be upset about the second test you took. You should really just wait and see if you're period comes, and then re-test.

I used ClearBlue Digital in the beginning also, it read negative but when I took it apart I too saw a faint line.  Tested again the next morning with first pee and got a positive again, I am now at the 37 week mark. best wishes hun =)

I wouldn't say your not pregnant.  If you truly saw a faint 2nd line then you probably are.  You are most likely testing too soon.  The best results come at 10-12 weeks.  If you are, it sounds like your around 5-8 weeks.  Try using a cheap test that has 1 line for NO and 2 lines for YES.  Use your 1st urine as it is more potent, especially since if you are pregnant, it's early on.

And with this if you get a 2nd faint line, your pregnant.

I actually took four pregnancy tests before I got a positive result. (One of the tests was a blood test) All were negative. The funny thing was when I finally got a positive result and got a scan because I was spotting I was 9wks pregnant. Then I wondered why all the negative results when I was pregnant the whole time? I'm gonna assume that I just wasn't producing enough of the hormone that makes the whole thing work, my suggestion is just go with the morning pee after your missed period , since that is supposed to have the highest hormone levels in it.....Good Luck

I was only off the pill one month also and got pregnant right away. If you are not late for your period you have less hcg in your urine and that is why the line was faint. This time I tested early and got the same thing and now I am 7 weeks along.

Digital tests will almost always have 2 lines on the inside test strip.

Your not even supposed to look at them, hence the whole reason they are digital with words.

Digital tests also measure LH hormone, which is an ovulation hormone that is always present in your system at anytime of the month. So if you got a faint 2nd line its from that.

Digitals are the most sensative test out there, I received a  + on one the same day my dr's urine test was negative...next day my bloodwork confirmed the digi was right.
