I took a college placement test i got my scores back, can anyone tell me what this means?

Question

in math it said i placed at the MAT 070 or MAT 101 level.

in Reading it said i placed at the RED 090 level

anyone know what that means , good or bad?

Its most likely their names for the math courses and reading course.  So grab your college enrollment book and look at the course descriptions.  It will tell if you got placed in a higher math course or a beginners one.

Your math scores indicate that you'll enter college math at the Developmental Studies level, which means you'll have to pass Dev. Studies Algebra before being admitted on to college level algebra.  I wouldn't worry so much about the reading scores, as there are no reading courses in college.
