I took a home pregnancy test this morning and it came back negative? Did i test too early? ?

Question

My last menses was on July 18th. I had sexual relations 2 and half to 3 weeks ago. Could I still be pregnant since they say you shouldnt test until you are atleast 4 weeks pregnant..6 weeks if you count the two weeks previous. IF so should i test again in another week or is this test i took this morning pretty accurate? confused?? plz help

The first time I tested it came back negative too.  I waited three days then retested (make sure it's morning urine as the hormone you are looking for is more concentrated there) and it was positive.  Give yourself a few days and don't fret over it too much!

take another test in a week to two weeks there should be enough hcg in your urine by then to recieve a positive pregnancy test. good luck to you

It would be showing up by now if you were, maybe your period is just late. If you do not start within a couple of days retest.

test again in two days could have been to early to detect any hormone in your urine if it comes back negative and your still worried you might be pregnant go see your doctor

Wait until the day after you missed your period. I had three false negative before a positive.

My sister in law took a HPT 1 week after her and her husband BD'ed and it came out faintly positive. So when she went to the doctors she was about 3 weeks pregnant. The dr. was amazed the test came out positive that soon, but it did. And she used a cheap $1 test from Dollar Tree. But for you wait another week and then take the test the first thing in the morning with your first pee of the day. Good luck.
