I took a hpt on 7dpo, 9dpo and 10dpo (this morning) and all negative. Just wondering if i could still be preg?

My husband and i are on our first cycle using opks, no naturally we were very excited when we got the positive (yes it was ask dark as control line). We had s*x every day for 3 days before the surge and twice on the day of the surge (once in the morning before we even got the positive) and once in the evening a few hours after the surge was detected. For some reason we didnt have s*x on any days afterwards (not sure if there would be any sperm left hehehe)

Just wondering if there may still be a chance i am pregnant (and yes, i know 10dpo is early to test, so please no lectures i have just heard of people getting positives since 7dpo)

have any of you got positives in similar experiences??Also im counting the first day after the surge as 1dpo.

Having s*x as often as you did on the days that you got positive OPK's is a really good thing. It definitely increases your chances of getting pregnant. However, even if you are pregnant, many women can't get a positive pregnancy test until the first day of their missed periods. While you could get one as early as 7dpo's, getting negative results even up to 10 dpo's doesn't mean anything.

I also want to add, though, that having done everything right doesn't necessarily mean that you WILL get pregnant. I've been doing everything right for more than 10 months now and have yet to get pregnant. I don't say this to discourage you, only to give you a realistic example.

Well as today was only day 10 I would try to be patient on the test strips until at least day 14 and then test if you miss your period. *~*~Baby Dust~*~*
