I took a pic on my phone i wanna put it on aim profiles?

i took a picture that i liked and i sent it to my email and i opened it and saved it but now i cant put it on my aimprofile (its kinda like a myspace but without the whole stalker-vibe :] ) and it says i can only put on GIF, JPG, or PNG files and when i try to open it, it says the pic is a bmp file? how do i convert this because i heard my friend talking about putting her phone pic on her myspace so im guessing i can do it too

The problem is your phone, there is no way to convert it from your phone and u may from your computer if u use a special program ( dont know what that is)but the easier way is to download pics from a digital cam onto your computer and upload to aim profile.

You just need to convert the picture to jpg first.

To do this

go to windows paint, and then open the bmp file, and save it as a .jpg.
