I took a pregnancy test 10 days after unprotected s*x and it said negative. Is that too early to test?

My period isn't due for almost 2 more weeks but i'm having cramps down there like it is coming and my b***s are tender.

  1. yeah its to early, just be patient and wait and see if you start your period. If you dont, that would be a good time to test.

Yes, it is too early to test.  If you're pregnant, implantation doesn't occur until around 7-10 days (maybe a couple days longer) after ovulation.  Your body doesn't start producing the preg. hormone until implantation occurs.  If you haven't given it enough time, the test won't pick up any of the preg. hormone and will show negative/false negative.  My recommendation is to wait until the 1st day of your missed period, or possibly within the 1st week after your missed period.

  4. too soon. Most people wont be able to find out until about 3 days before there missed period. For myself. Ive been preggo twice. I didnt read positive until a WEEK AFTER my missed period

  5. Yes, it might... I got a positive 12 days past ovulation however.. If you weren't ovulating your chances of being pregnant are lower.
