I took a pregnancy test last night and it was negative?

I am supposed to start my period today and I am crampy....I took Clomid days 5-9 of my last MP and had a positive ovulation test on the 16th day! I took a HPT and it was negative last night is that still too early? My last pregnancy I took a test and it was positive on the day I was supposed to start....

HPT's are best to take first thing in the morning . You should also wait 5 days after your missed period to take the test.

Although some can detect pregnancy hormones before your missed period. Every pregnancy differs.

Well you should always take the test in the morning with your first pee, it is more accurate, but you never know you still may be prego and got a faulty test. Try another one in a few days.

I am on CD 34 and got a negative last night and again this morning. But with my son I didn't get a positive until CD36. I'd wait a few more days and test again if AF still hasn't shown. I'm going in for a beta on Monday to know for sure.

it is best to test first thing in the morning.  You should wait a couple of days and test again. Good Luck and lots of baby dust...
