I know the box says don't worry about it, but I was just wondering if anyone else has had this happen. Please don't answer unless you have had it happen to you. I already know the box says disregard, I am just making sure I am not pregnant.

  1. HAHA no it was a negative test right...? well there you go!

Thats why they tell you to check the results within 10 mins of taking the test because after 10 mins you get a fake posotive!

  2. No. All the tests I've seen come up "positive" after prolonged exposure to urine and air. That's the reason there's a time for when to read your result, for the most accuracy!

  3. Pregnancy tests rely on the presence of the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), a glycoprotein that is secreted by the placenta shortly after fertilization.  and sometimes there might not be enough of the hormonein ur urine to show up positive on a test right away it usually shows up anywhere from 5 to 15 days after conseption.take another test to be sure, but ur probly prego congrats!

  4. an evaporation line may show up if you look at the test after the time it says, especially after 2 days, and that may make it look positive.  you need to take another one just to be sure. evaporation lines happen all the time.  you shoudnt read a test after the time the box says to.

  5. You could be pregnant but not because that test said so, after 10 minutes the reading is invalid.

  6. No, don't worry about it. After that long it won't be accurate at all anymore. Take another if you're worried though.

Haha I just threw away a test in my boyfriends trash can today. Now I'm hoping nobody in his family goes through his trash and finds a false (i think?) positive test lol =P
