I took a prescription medication called Adipex and I just got a call from a job applicant that wants to hire

me but wants to know if I was able to go in tomorrow to do my drug screening. OMG is this going to affect my drug screen. I have been told it was.

If Adipex is the same chemical thing as Phentermine, then it will come up positive for Amphetimine.

What you need to do is bring your prescription of the pills with you to the drug screening and show them that you take that and it was prescribed by a dr. (hopefully it is)

Also, let your employer know off the bat. You want to start this job with open communication anyway.
