  1. IQ = intelligence quotient

    100 is average

    140 is genious

    113 is not bad.

Einstein's was theorized to be around 180.

  2. intelligence quotient.

and since IQ doesn't change with age there aren't different scales for different ages.

  3. Its average. Where did you take this IQ test?

  4. IQ stands for intelligence quotient.

There are many different types of IQ tests, and some are much better than others.  I would not put very much stock in an IQ test taken over the internet (although they certainly can be fun).  Probably the best test for you to take if you want an accurate score would be the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children- Fourth Edition (WISC-IV).  It is the gold standard for people ages 6-16 and must be given and interpreted by a trained psychologist.

Generally, IQ tests transform scores to "standard scores."  An average standard score is 100.  That way, you can compare a person's performance to others' his/her own age, and to some degree to others of a different age.  In other words, a person who is 6 does not have to get as many items correct on an IQ test to earn a score of 100 as a person who is 16, yet the same test can be used to assess each person's IQ.

A score of 114 is pretty solid, assuming you took a valid & reliable test.  It falls around the 75th percentile, meaning your performance was better than about 25% of people of your approximate age.  Theoretically, IQ is fairly stable and does not change that much over time.  However, it is possible and not that uncommon for IQ scores to either improve or decrease over time.  Scores can be affected by learning, practice, testing error, and emotional state while taking the test, among other things.

    Hope this helps!

  5. Intelligence quotient. Supposedly, it's supposed to stay the same throughout life, independent of age. "Average" is 90-110. There are many critics of the concept of IQ, though, since it only measures certain and limited skills. There are many traits that can't be measured by these tests.

  6. It is intelligence quotient. It's the quotient you get when you divide mental age by physical age. If this quotient is "1", then your IQ is 100. 100 would be average so you are a bit above that.

  7. ITS good coze i got the 114 and i am also 14 year old
