I took aspirin once today, and i felt kind of nauseas?

i took it for my acne because it's helping a little, same thing happened yesterday, i'm not sure if it's because i'm taking vitamins and ampicillin too, but neither of those have made me feel kinda sick before.

i took ampicillin this morning, 30 mins later i took my vitamin, and probably a few hours later i took some aspirin.

the ampicillin is also for my acne......... which i'm about to start taking at night so i don't forget that i have to wait an hour before eating.

what could be causing this?

you are taking ampicillin for acne, don't take the aspirin, don't take any type of asprin on a daily basic with out your Dr knowing or advice, it could be very dangerous, it thins out your blood, if you are in a accident and the er docs do not know this the wrong medicine combination can kill you.  i am on asprin therapy, this is the warning my phys has given me, i have to wear a med alert braclet all the time with this and other health alerts listed

It is more likely that the vitamins or the antibiotic is the culprit. There less of a chance of being nauseous if you take vitamins with food. The antibiotics should be taken exactly as prescribed but can also cause some mild stomach upset.  Since you are going to take it just before bed you should be asleep before it would start to affect you.

Everyone is different, though, and if it is the aspirin you can try to take it on a full stomach. If you have never taken aspirin before stop taking it and tell you doctor you might be having a reaction.

If you have taken it before you should be ok. Make sure your doctor knows. All medicines, herbal supplements, vitamins etc you are taking you should tell your doctor, some things can affect each other. Antibiotics, for example, can make birth control pills ineffective. Others can cause problems when taken together.

People should always be careful about taking aspirin for the first time, there is a rare condition called Reye's Syndrome that can be fatal.

Did you take the aspirin on an empty stomach or with only a little food? That would irritate your stomach and cause nausea..and did you take regular adult aspirin or do you mean tylenol or motrin type of medicine? None of these should be taken on an empty stomach cause they are harsh on your stomach in general and can make you feel very sick to your stomach if without much food. I can suggest taking the aspirin with a glass of milk to help coat your stomach first.. I have never heard of aspirin helping in acne, but hey whatever works.
