Well, benedryal will help, but it will put you to sleep.

Claritin and Zyrtec both need to be taken regularly (as in daily whether you are having symptoms or not) for them to be effective.

That is the new rx allergy since zytrec is now otc.  

If you are having sinus symptoms from your allergies, nose sprays can be of help as well, such as nasonex as sometimes allergy sinus issues can turn into sinisitus

Or, its not allergies.

Have you tried seeing an allergist?  They can test you to see what exactly you are allergic to and give you a better idea of what meds to take.

Try lemon tea.  Take an organic lemon.  Cut it up -- all except the seeds.  Boil it in a pint of water and drink it as a tea flavored with mint and apple juice.  Injest at least 3 cups of this delicious brew a day.  See how well you will feel within 3 days.  -- Toni D.
