Question:

I took clomid from day 3-7. Is it ok to bd everyday from day 11-17? Or do you recommend every other day?

I asked a very similar question....This is currently my second round of clomid...(first I did not ovulate...50mg cycle days 5-9)..this dose..Im on 100mg cycle days 5-9....today is currently day 5...and I'm going to wait till Cycle day 12 and BD ebery other day....but my doctor specifically told me not to BD...until the 12 day....and everyother day after that....my first cycle...I BD...basically whenever we were in the mood...(of course this was before we found out i didn't ovulate)....so this cycle i decided to just wait...and BD every other day

The suggestion is every other day just in case your husbands sperm quality isn't the greatest. It gives him that extra day to build up! I know the doctor suggests every other day. But when I took Clomid, my husband and I just did it whenever we wanted, assuming everything was fine on his end! I'm not saying that is the best idea for everyone, but it worked for us!! We're now expecting our first baby in December!

Every other day to build up better quality sperm, or even every 3rd day.
