I took depo provera for 1 year?

i took the depo provera shot for a little over a year and have been off for about 4 months and a couple nights ago i had severe cramps and i passed a huge clot didnt know if this was normal or common or maybe it was a miscarriage??? please help

This does not sound normal or common you really should see a doctor. If it has been a miscarriage then the chances are you may need to have a D&C. I hope it wasn't but get yourself checked out just in case. Good luck
