I took my clubs to a proshop for extensions and they said it should take 3 days, its now been 10 days.....?

should I get a discount or something. What should I do about it?

  1. If they haven't already done the work, get the clubs back and go somewhere else. If they have started, when you get them back, don't EVER use the pro-shop again. And don't forget to mention it at the 19 hole as often as possible. That kind of thing really gets me too.


  2. Tell them you're not happy with their service.  Ask them if it's being done in the shop.  I know Golfsmith has workshop in their retail store, so most things they do it right there.  I took mine for cutting and regrip, and they did it in 10 minutes while I watched.

    But if your shop is a small one, they may have shipped your club to their larger store, or worse, sent it to a club maker, as they can't do it themselves.

  3. create a scene and see what kind of apologies/discounts/incentives they try to throw your way to calm you down.  then never go back.

  4. It's either the proshop does not know how to do it or they have too many orders right now.   But I would trust a clubmaker instead of a proshop.

  5. i would get my clubs back and some discounts on merchandise if i were you thats crazy, let them have it bad .
