I took pictures of a low budget movie that they were filming in my families driveway and I made them into post cards to sell at a non profit organization, I also have postcards of buildings in town and other things, one of the workers of the organization is worried that this is not legal and I would like to know if anyone knows one way or the other. Thanks so much.

  1. I agree with Nick.  Paparazzi get away with what they do because their victims are celebrities which makes anthing they (the celebrity) do "news."  Paparazzi are legally classified as freelance newsmen.

  2. Copyrights vary greatly in different countries.

Generally you cannot sell photographs of people without their permission in writing.
