  1. No nothing wrong you are just lucky.

What is this about the vicodin and codeine ? Remember that vicodin is simply synthetic codeine.  Don't take them together or you have over dosed. If you don't need it don't' take it trust me on that one.

You don't say what kind of surgery you had. That makes a huge difference also.  The deeper into the body they have to go the worse you will feel when you wake up.  For instance chest surgery is much worse than abdominal surgery in most cases.

If you are feeling fine don't be lulled into a false sense of security and start back working and playing like before surgery.  Give it a few days and follow your docs orders about that.  Lots of ppl feel like that and think the doc is crazy and start back to normal activity and then get hit with some really bad pain and problems.

  2. Nope,  some people feel these side effects, not all. You defiantly should feel some relief from pain or the edge off. If not it is safe to take another as long as no alcohol or other meds/drugs.

  3. As long as it is managing the pain you are fine. Don't take more than the prescribed dose. These are easy meds to become addicted to.

  4. Probably not, it just means you have a high tolerance or a different reaction to the drug.  As long as you're not having some other reactions like trouble breathing, etc.  You should be fine.  If you are still in pain, however, and the drug does not help, you should see a doctor.
