I took the IGSCE's, so would I have any different requirements for getting into any college in the US??

  1. In my High school (in Florida) the IGSCE exams/classes are taken in grades 9 and 10. Then, the ones that really "matter" for the Cambridge Diploma are the AS and A classes/exams, taken in grades 11 and 12.

    We also take the AP tests because they are more widely recognized than Cambridge in the US.

    I am not sure where you are, but if you are in an international school hoping to go to college in the US, they will certainly work with you, taking into consideration what your school/country offers. However, if available I would definitely take the AP tests for the classes you have taken. (AP and Cambridge are about on the same level, but often AP looks for slightly different specifics or different ways of asking the question. There are very good study guide books out there that will help you prepare for AP tests.)
