I took the abortion pill 4 weeks ago?

and now im onthe pill and i was supposed to start my period yesterday, but i dont think it came, i know they told me it could take up to 8 weeks to get my period back but i was thinking because im on the pill now that it would just regulate my period right back. what do you think is the problem, i go to get the iuc put in on tuesaday, will that mess up my period even more?

Wow, you are putting a lot of hormones and chemicals into your body. I don't know why a doctor would ever do that much medication in such a short amount of time. I don't know what to tell you.

You're probably not going to get nice answers on here...just ignore them. But to answer your question, your period can come anywhere between 4-8 weeks. Your hormones are all out of whack. Give it time, if  AF doesn't come within 8 weeks call your doctor!

Did you get your post abortion check up? Something maybe wrong.

After an abortion it is likely your body needs to adjust, so wait the 8 weeks as the doctor said, and then if it doesn't regulate, see a doctor. DO continue taking the pill though, as this should pose no issue expect maybe regulate it for next month. I have been told by medical staff to start on the pill right away after an abortion :)

You should have waited until you stared your period after the abortion to start taking your pills, now you probably just messed up your cycle even more. Call your doctor and explain your situation.

Your period can show up any time during the week of sugar pills.  Mine always showed up on Tuesday or Wednesday.  It also can take up to 3 months for your period to come exactly in that week as your body adjusts.
