I took the doors offf my shower how do i get the glue offf the tub without hurting the tub?

You can use Mineral Spirits, you can find it in the paint dept. of any Home Depot. Works great for taking things like that off.

Go to home depot, Lowe's or any place like that. Ask them, they have stuff that can take it off. I used a paint remover, but not sure what the name of it was. I got it from Lowe's.

Things You’ll Need:

Brake cleaner

Gasoline

Hair dryer

Scraper

Ammonia

Step1

First thing I heard works well is brake cleaner or gasoline. This is an option to try if you don't have pets or children that would be in danger. You pour a moderate amount of either solution and let sit for a few minutes and then scrape off. I would suggest using a squeegee from your car.

Step2

If you are worried about the pets or children being exposed, another thing to try is to use a hairdryer or heat gun to melt the glue and then it should scrape off easily.

Step3

Another option is to try 1/2 cup of ammonia to 1 gallon of water. Dampen a cloth or mop with the mixture.

most hardware stores have a product for removing the old chaulk w/out hurting or scratching the surface.one off top of my mind goo off for like removing bumper stickers.
