I took too much Amoxicillin! Dentist told me 1 every 8 hours, i took my SECOND EVER after 6 hours! Am i ok?

Am I gna be ok?

Dentist told me take 1 every 8 hours

I went to sleep for a couple hours, and I woke up and lost track of time

I thought it was 10:00 AM but it was 10:00 PM so I took my SECOND AMOXICILLIN Pill (Just started today)

My first pill:

4:00pm

Second pill:

10:15 pm

20 year old male

5'9

160 pounds

  1. You'll be absolutely fine! As long as you're not a whole bunch of them within like 1 hour, you'll be good. Just keep sticking to your schedule, even if you're off by a couple hours, nothing bad will happen.

    Amoxicillin is just an antibiotic -- it prevents infections.
