  1. Well the prescription says one or two every six hours and you already took two one hour ago so you can't take anymore for  six hours. This doesn't seem to be controlling your pain at all. You must tell your doctor that  the medication is not controlling your pain. It is his obligation to make sure that he meets your needs and insures that you are as comfortable as he can make you. Sometimes some pain medications don't work well on some people and sometimes it works well on others. You just need to make sure you call his office  first things in the morning and let them know that you are not getting any relief from the pain medications that you have been prescribed and you need something to control the pain because when you start therapy it is going to be much worse and you will need something  that eliminates or controls the pain so that the therapy will be productive. Good luck and hope you get the pain under control soon.

  2. ~ Hi ~! I'm sorry you're in so much pain. Normally, it's important to follow the directions on the prescription. At this point I would recommend calling your Doctor in the morning and ask for a stronger pain medication that will offer relief.

I hope you get relief from the pain soon.

  3. Tylenol 3s are pretty useless for severe pain. You could probably get away with taking another one. Just remember than acetaminophen is dangerous in large doses. And the codeine may make you sick to your stomach.

Call the doc tomorrow and tell him that the meds are just not helping with the pain.
