K. I'm hosting a party in a little more than a week. It's for my 13th birthday and its kinda gonna have a fiesta theme. It's also a boy-girl party and I need some game ideas or other things we could do at the party. I have a large backyard and frontyard, so if the weather is nice it would be awesome to have the party out there. And maybe some decorating tips?

  1. Get a pinata.  No matter the age everyone enjoys candy and watching someone else swing at a pinata that is five feet away from the bat.

  2. A set color theme can be sufficient decorations use balloons, streamers, plates etc that are all in a few select colors to tie everything together.

Use music, movies or music videos to fill in the background, and have food to munch on when people arrive. The most awkward time of a party can be when everyone is arriving- especially if there are people from different "groups" coming.

Some of the best parties have no planned events, but rather are just cookouts around the fire, but sometimes a party really needs set events. Badminton, volleyball, pinata, tag, card games, karaoke etc...

Fiesta theme: pinata, chips and salsa, virgin margaritas, check Target and other stores for decorations in that theme:

    Have fun!

  3. volley ball, DDR, twister, rockband, a couple card games, music, lots of good easy food

  4. defiantly have the party outside, and you could just put some music on, and things will b fine.  for games you could play outdoor volleyball or something sporty that everyone will like.  you could also rent a LCD projector that hooks up to a computer, as well as a screen, and watch movies.  just make sure there's something for everyone.  have fun!

  5. Like the other ppl said you should have a pinata if you want. But I think it would be a great idea to maybe have a waterballon fight if its warm outside. You can also bobe for apples, or play the classic game of pin the tail on the donkey and give out a prize to the winner. Ok  don't forget that music would be kind of important and GOOD food.

  6. If your neighbors are friendly and co-operative, divide into teams for a scavenger hunt.  Make sure your list of things to round up has some unusual items.
