  1. portis for mcgahee was an awful trade. chambers for bruce was an ok move.

  2. Hard to say, if the Redskins stick with the two back system, then it is a good trade, if they go 1 with Portis with a west coast offense, which opens up the running back, then not so good. It all depends on what happens in the future. Of course, Chambers and Mcgahee should go Pro-Bowl this year, so you may have made a great trade.

  3. you pretty much made an equal trade. Portis and Mcgahee are going to have similar years. Chambers and Bruce are nothing better then #3 receivers. so, it was pretty even.

  4. You won that trade,Bruce is getting up there in age,Chambers is Rivers fav target. Its pretty much even on the rb's,i like portis by a hair.

  5. You did fine.

McGahee ran for 1,207 yards last year.

Although he only had 7 TDs, if you get points for yardage he will produce for you.

Actually the RB trade you made was pretty even up.

Bruce is over as far as having any fantasy value. Chambers is going to excel with the Chargers.

  6. In my opinion not good.  I like Portis way more than McGahee but the Chris Chambers pick up is good.

  7. You got more or less a lateral move on the running back (both have been injury prone of late), and a big upgrade at Wide Receiver.

McGahee is in theory a feature back, whereas Portis has been sharing carries more the last two seasons.  They've tried to limit his workload.

McGahee's QB situation could be a major problem.  It's likely Flacco or Smith.  That could mean more tough sledding.

Isaac Bruce went to a bad San Francisco team that couldn't make use of a healthy Darrell Jackson, and one with major quarterback issues.

Phillip Rivers is solid, if a streaky QB.  Chambers had flashes last year, though he is at best a WR2 in a fantasy context.  He is the Chargers deep threat on paper, but the offense still runs through LT and Gates.

I'm not big on McGahee over Portis, but overall this is not a bad deal.

I never make trades this early.  You just don't know how things will pan out or if a player will survive the preseason.

  8. u lost mcgahee sucks he is soooo overrated try to trade him   because (balt draftrd ray rice)

  9. Portis is a better RB than McGahee but they platoon somewhat in Wash. so not that bad there.  You got the best end of the deal Chambers for Bruce however.  Close to an even trade.  Bruce is just about done in the NFL.
