I transferred into a public school from a prep school. so its really hard fitting in?

i don't have any friends, and every one thinks i'm a nerd, because the only kid I know is one and i have to sit in the nerd/ weirdo table. and i'm prep. so its really hard to know people. all the other guys make fun ome because because i'm a prep and their gangster. and they happen to be "popular'" here.

Instead of lamenting that no one is pursuing your friendship, focus more on a.) who you are, b.) who you want to be, and c.) what sort of people are worth befriending. Then go out of your way to be WORTH noticing. Treat others as you would be treated, ya know? If everybody is a jerk, you don't want to be friends with them anyway, right? And if there are some good apples, then they'll welcome you. But you have to make the effort. Life doesn't come to you; chase it

Eh, its high school. It doesn't matter if your prep, gasnter, etc, they'll find a reason to hate you? why? well, because their idiots and have no life, but hey, thats whats high school is all about right? ;)

Just do what you like, and don't take anything too anally. Trust me, its better to let things go rather than to let them get the best of you.

Being new is hard, but feel free to socialize, don't make yourself socially awkward by enclosing yourself in a social free barrier.

Even if they are "geeks" or weirdos, they're still people, and they can very well be your best friends, and your smartest friends late ron :)
