  1. It's transplant shock.  The plants need some special care and attention when moved, especially during the hot part of the year.  If you transplanted them out of the ground, you may have cut off a lot of their root systems (sunflowers naturally have deep taproots) and they are struggling.  Keep them well watered for a while and see what happens.  It's probably easier to just grow sunflowers by seeds anyway.


  2. Most transplants need shade for a few days to allow the roots to adjust.  It is transplant shock like suggested.  The best time to transplant is when the humidity is high.  If they have been transplanted in sun you will need to water them in the early morning before the sun gets to hot for a few days. I chose to transplant when it is suggested we will get a few days rain. They just need time to adjust.  

  3. GIVE UM A LITTLE WHILE,THEY ARE IN SHOCK,FROM BEING MOVED JUST KEEP UM WATERED GOOD AND THEY WILL OPEN BACK UP
