I have tried about every ball. But I bought a dozen and they consistantly go very far for me. They are hard to control around the greens though.

  1. there are a lot of hard cover balls that will do the same thing. the spin thing is for pros .

  2. great ball at a reasonable price . will go staighter . definatly need lob wedge for chipping etc . this will improve the rock feeling . another point it will  boost your cofidence in your  game . just think of the money you have saved by using these balls . you loose one so whay , you loose 6 dollar ball , mad . the ball will improve your scores , you will know when to change to a softerball , good luck with your season , thank you .

  3. Its a harder ball. The harder the ball the more pop it has off the club face. I would stay with a softer ball for more spin.

  4. The harder balls will usually go farther than the softer ones, but the spin will be very erratic.  Normally, you'll have a trade-off between the "feel" of the golf ball and the distance... and a hard golf ball just won't have the spin and bite around the green.

  5. Those are great balls I also have increased about 20 yards with those balls

  6. It's amazing how many people that seem to play golf only worry about distance, why don't people work on the rest of there game, work on your short game, Irons, course management, you will like the game a whole lot better.  I understand how people love to crush a ball and feel good about it, but understand there is much more to the game than 14 drives a round.

  7. Luck

  8. I experience the same thing.  I hit it 20 yards further than other balls.  And again you're right about being hard to control around green.  I think it's because of the cover that is hard as a rock.  It is a two piece construction and some reason it transfers power most efficiently from our club head speed to the ball.

I guess if anyone is desperate for distance off the tees this would be the right ball for you.
