I tried a nondestructive recovery which has worked in the past with no problems, however, this time I don't think it made it through entirely, shut down and when it booted back up the top of the screen said _NTDETECT Then would flash to the error 'Missing or corrupt C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\SYSTEM' I don't have the original CD to whatever I've read online. I shut it off and the screen with Safe Mode, Safe Mode with networking, Last Known Good COnfig, Start Normally came up. I tried the LKGC but it still give the missing or corrupt msg. I am not a technical person. Any help would be great. Thanks
