Question:

I tried consuming coconut oil (2 tablespoon) and it made me a nauseous and I found myself burping a lot?

It tastes weird and I can't function normally since its very strong and makes me feel sick. Does it really make you lose weight and have really good ingredients. Drinking this is like torture but I want to know if it's worth it.

  1. This may sound strange, but I thought you were supposed to put it in your hair to make your hair healthier and sleeker.


  2. Chew one or two lecithin tablets and it will stop the burping. Cut down on the amount until you can tolerate it better.

  3. Usually people use it to cook with, not take it by itself.  You should probably stop drinking it. I don't know about it helping you lose weight, but it is healthier to cook with than most other oils.

  4. i tried that tooo and lasted for a few days, but it made me feel sick and sluggish too. I hear that it is best to start small like in the teaspoon range and work your way up to more. Also, you can use it instead of butter - which actually tastes quite addictively yum. and mango smoothie is the best thing you'll ever taste with it... 2 mangos and two tbps. c. o. or something like that, milk or ice added, can't recall.

  5. You don't have to drink it by its self. You can use it in different cooking recipes or substitute it for other fats. It is a healthier choice.
