I tried going through the University of Phoenix Online. do i have to repay a Pell Grant like they're saying?

they're saying i failed my courses bc of lack of work. i turned in *all*my work on time. i called in when i was sick like they told me to. do i owe them for something the govt funded for free?

You never have to pay back a grant.  However, under Title IV funding regulations set by the Department of Education, the Pell Grant funds cannot be applied toward a class that was dropped or failed.  So, technically, you do not owe grant money back, however, you do still owe University of Phoenix for the class that was failed.  It cannot and will not be covered by Title IV funding.

its a GRANT, you dont repay those/
