I tried running my jaguar s type on old cooking oil?

now it seems the engines broke i saw people doing a experiment on tv and thought i would try it out for myself so were i usually pour in expensive petrol i tried old cooking oil now its broke.WHY IS THIS.

cooking oil is too heavy and it does not really create mist when entering the compulsion chamber

You can only use cooking oil in a DIESEL engine..... It won't work in a GASOLINE engine....

In my professional opinion as a housewife i can easily walk you through this one.

Cooking Oil is usually seen in the kitchen,

you may use it occasionally for a squeaky door but i wouldn't recommend that either.

everything serves a purpose and you will find it will always serve the purpose best it was originally intended for.

unless you plan on frying chips in your car you might wanna stick with the petrol.

You'll be fine. Just add some peanut butter to the gasoline and a tuna fish sandwich in the exhaust pipe and it should offset the effects from the cooking oil

You've got to be pulling my leg.

1. only diesels can do that

2. it has got to be clean cooking oil

3. why am I answering this, it's got to be a joke

On that note, same thing happened to me when I tried it with my F430.  I was able to correct the problem by just running it on straight water, even cheaper than cooking oil too!

Gee!  When you put cooking oil in the car (either oil or gas) you 'fried the engine'.  It's gonna coat you some bucks.

To use cooking oil, it has to be a diesel engine.  A diesel engine was designed to run on vegetable oil, but it is not as efficient a diesel fuel.
