  1. give up on basketball?

no way! its the best and funniest game out there.

obviously you dont want it enough or to become better enough to think about even giving up.

here try these drills everyday and your skills will improve:

(they wont even get you tired out its easy work but important)

    HERE YOU GO:

    These are the drills:

Do each one about 30 to 60 seconds and then move to the next one. With all of these drills, try to keep your eyes forward, without looking at the ball.

    Slaps:

Pound or slap the ball hard from hand to hand.

    Tipping:

Tip the ball back and forth from one hand to the next, starting with your hands straight up over your head. Then gradually move the ball down, while continuing to tip it back and forth. Go down to your chest, then your waist, knees, and ankles, and then back up again. Keep your elbows straight.

    Circles:

Put your feet together and make circles around both legs. Then circle around the back. And then circle around the head. Then combine them and move the ball in circles around your head, then down your body, down around your knees, and then around your ankles ("candy cane"). Then come back up again. Be sure to use your fingertips, not the palms.

Also, shoot a good amount of shots DAILY so you can improve your consistency.

(use your legs more to wen shootin far range it helps get the ball up)

oh and your shootin form is VERY important!

hope i helped.(i got more drills to those are basic if u need help vote me best answer and get at me ill give u more highger drills)

  2. If everyone that wanted somthing in there life and there was a couple times that they didnt feel good enough for what they wanted in quit we would have pro sports or celebritys! So stick with it and i bet you will suprise your self!

  3. QUALITY IS BETTER THAN QUANTITY!

  4. I have 2 personal trainers the all say that an athlete is only as good as they think they are. try setting a goal fro your self if you are an athlete you can do it

  5. Wow r u serious??? u dont just give up wtf. You ever heard of hardwork and determination???....its not supposed 2 be easy c'mon now. Dont give up

  6. Thats your problem, you need to think positive.  Once you do that you will notice improvement.  Also just shoot a bunch, like everyday when you wakeup for like 30 mins

  7. Quality is better than quantity, as stated above. Meaning, it'd be better to go outside and practice for 3 hours doing everything perfectly, then go out for 8 hours and shoot around without paying attention to detail.

You have to develop a better work ethic. If you practice, you will get better. Practice makes permanent. If you practice a crappy shot, you're gonna end up with a crappy shot. So make sure you're doing everything right, and go out with a plan. Trust me, it's way easier if you make a chart of what shots you're gonna take and fill them in.

  8. Man are you just going to give up? I live in Southern California and I play basketball do you know how hot it is over here? When I come home my T-Shirt is literally WET. Look man, I'm just gonna say this "Nobody but you can stop you from getting better." Think about that for a while. Good luck.

  9. maybe its your attitude about it, if you put your mind to it, i'm sure by working hard you'll get better, you can't get alot better in one day's work. =)

  10. you should just keep water in you so you can at least stay out in the hot sun
