  1. I took the Personal Computer Training Institute course in January of 08.  With work and stuff, it took me about a month to finish the course, even though it's only 6 hours long.  I am a bit of a procrastinator.  It took me a while to get the hang of it, but I'm making a nice bit of coin every week now.  It's nice to see that there are some honest people running these courses sometimes.

  2. I studied with Personal Computer Training Institute over a year ago.  I probably spent a month researching them before I signed up.  I actually spoke with the people at the New Mexico BBB to make sure they were legit and that gave me the confidence to go ahead with it.  The video courses are excellent, and the skills I got have enabled me to make some nice extra money every week.  I guess after you have fallen for as many scams as I have you get really, really, cautious.  Before Personal Computer Training Institute, I had tried a couple of those data entry scams, you know, where you wind up just selling the same product you just bought to unsuspecting people who are desperate just like you.  That's got to be the worst.  I also signed up to be a mystery shopper, thought that was going to be great, when they tell you you are going to get paid to shop and not only are you going to get paid, but you are going to get a lot of free merchandise.  What a joke.  I don't think I got a single real job from that and I was contacting all of the companies on the list for about six months.  Then there was the paid surveys.  They said you were going to get $25-$150 per survey, guaranteed.  I signed up for every survey on the list, and maybe I got points from a few of them, but not cash.  What I did get was an email box full of spam, day after day after day.  I tried to get my money back from that one, i'ts two years later and of course I never got my money back.  Then of course there was stuffing envelopes, that was going to be a real money maker, but that was just another $50 down the drain.  Did anyone ever try the assemble craft products?  Where you first buy this manual for I think $100 or so, only to find out that you have to shell out money for supplies, too.  I don't know how many hours I spent trying to put together these little flimsy toys.  Then I got all of them together, boxed them up and sent them out so I could finally get paid.  That's when I found out how that scam works -- they reject all the toys you send in as being unacceptable,  Which of course they do to everybody, so no, you don't get paid you just end up poorer.  So that's the end of my rant, sorry about it, but I am sure many can relate to what I've been through, probably some of you have had the same experience.  But as for me, Personal Computer Training Institute was a legitimate program, and like I said, I am really happy with it, even a year later after taking the course.

  3. If you do a BBB search for Personal Computer Training Institute, located in Rio Rancho, NM, you can find their website and also see the review on the company.  The company has an "A" rating and has been around for 14 years.  Personal Computer Training Institute has also been rated the best work at home program by the Consumer Advocacy Group of America.

  4. I found out about Personal Computer Training Institute from a consumer reporter named Alisha Mitchell.  If you do a search for "Alisha Mitchell Consumer Reporter", you will find the article that she wrote.  There is a link in the article to the Personal Computer Training Institute website, so you can find it that way.

I just signed up for the course, so I don't have any idea how much money I am going to make with it.  But I have watched a few of the lessons so far and it's pretty easy to use.

  6. I have taken the Personal Computer Training Institute course myself.  At first I was apprehensive, because I didn't quite understand how I was going to get paid.  Then I found out that you get paid in a lot of ways, even when people just click on the articles you put together.  I do it in my spare time at night and on the weekends.  I make probably about $1600 a month with it.
