I tried to get out of the crash cab but the driver took off. Is that legal?

Before i could even close the door the driver said something about a crash cab and floored it. Next thing i know he's asking me all these questions and threw a cell phone at me and there's music blasting and that thing on the meter (the handle thing) is broke and just swingin' around and then he says if i don't answer the next question correctly he will not stop at one red light at all instead he will floor it even more so he says whose buried in Grants tomb and i say Mr. and Mrs Grant and he slams on the brakes right before the intersection and says if I want to get out now i have to PAY HIM. Its either pay now or he'll start asking questions and flooring it so i said never mind i'll take a subway. Phew. I got the heck out of there well then I notice that i left my wallet in the back seat because i was bouncin' around so much but lucky me it was only my in-case-i-get-mugged wallet and only had 4 bucks in it and a picture of a stranger which came with the wallet anyway, BUT i didn't ha

If you are then all you have to say is stop and the driver will let you out, if not the cash cab then I dont know what you got into...
