I tried to kiss this girl but she said she didn't want to "because I was drunk"?

Just recently I went to a party and got really drunk, out of pure impulse I asked her to come out her house. We've had past relationships before (we've kissed many times before) but I still like her and I believe she likes me too. Even last week she was the one offering me to come to her house (really late at night) but I couldn't. So I went this time, she was willing to get in BIG trouble for me, but we still met.

So we were sitting down together, I was really drunk so I started to make moves on her. She sat on my lap and I had my arms around her, she had hers around me. From time to time I still remember her glancing at my lips. I was kissing her cheek and stuff but never actually kissed her on the lips.

Later that night I called her (after sobering up a bit) to apologise for my rash actions. She accepted them and seemed to understand that I was really really drunk so yeah. Without me mentioning anything about the kissing, she started to talk about it. She said that I tried to kiss her many times but she didn't want to because I was drunk. Then I mentioned to her that I want to take things really really slowly, then shes like "why?!" which confused me. She seemed to be confused with her own response as well because she said "wait why are we even talking about this we're not even together".

Yep, that is my story...what do you think?

Does she like me? What does she actually want me to do? What does she actually want from me?

I want as many opinions as I can on this subject so I've asked my mates already and they all think she wants the kiss to mean something. Yet, I want more opinions.

i think she wants to kiss you and likes you. if she's letting you do all that, there must be something there. maybe she doesn't know what you want. what do you want.

I cant really say that she likes you because I don't know you guys. The best thing to do is to just talk to her about. Tell her that you are really interested in her and go from there. From the sounds of it, maybe she thought you were still drunk when you called her later that night. I think your friends have the right idea of the kiss to mean something, I guess some people are like hat. Well, either way communication is the only way to go if you want to pursue a relationship. Maybe shes the type of girl that wants to be swept off her feet.....be romantic!

put all your fillings down on paper so you can get it straight

then call her up ask her out to get something to eat and talk to her

I mean really talk. tell her how you fill be ready to be rejected just in case

Well, if she likes you, ask her out. But take it slowly, so what if you don't kiss her right away. At least you'll be taking the steps to that. And, don't get drunk. You look really really stupid like that and you'll do stupid things.

talk to her and tell her that you are confused by her reactions. just ask her straight up what she wants from you, in a polite way.

she obviously doesn't want it not to mean anything to you. due to intoxication.

ie, you were totally wasted, and she doesn't want to be a booty call, dude.

so yeah. just tell her you still like her, in all your apologies and sobriety.
