ok, so i have had my period for like 8 months, but today it came earlier than it usually does, first, is it ok for it to come early, i didn't skip my last period, and i expected it around the 4th of september. second, i really wanted to try putting in tampons, and i got a tampax slim, and i stood up and spread my legs as far apart as they would go, and i had a mirror to help me, but when i looked for the hole, i didn't see anything. i spread my legs really far, and like the lips opened, but there was this thing there, that looked like, i dont know, like a pit of a fruit or something right where my v****a was supposed to be. i couldnt find any hole! except my butt hole, but i knew that wasn't the right one. please help me! or just dont reply to this question if you are going to say something stupid, like you stuck fruit up your vag. i didn't. and i have never put anything in my v****a before. ever. not even my finger.

  1. Yeah I'm not reading that but I had to get 'broken in' before I put a tampon in. Even before that I had unsuccessful previous attempts with tampons.

  2. dude thats probaly your hymen

thats where the tampon is supposed to go

    so stop freakin out

  3. just relax and talk to your mom

  4. First of all today is not too early, it's normal for that to happen sometimes. It happens to me every, now and again, and my periods have always been VERY regular, I'm 34.

An secondly, If nothing has ever been in there, it is most likely your hymen, it can cover the most of the opening to your v****a, and your period can still flow.

(Very rarely, will it cover the whole opening, and a doctor would have to take care of it to allow menstral flow. but we kno that is not your case as you've been fin for 8 months.)

And if there was any blood flowing maybe it looked funny.

Talk to your mum or your doctor.

  5. Dont worry this is normal for a first time user. The best way to put a tampon in is to be sitting down on the toilet. Spread your legs, look at your v****a and when you see your "lower lips" open up, that where your v****a is, you want to insert the tampon there, and push in enough so it doesnt bother you when you walk. If you walk and you can feel the tampon, then its not placed properly go back and push it in further.

Also since you are a first time user, go with Tampax Pearl, they are easier to slide in.

    Hope this helps

  6. ask your mother to help you. i had the same problem. i know it will be weird to ask, but she will be glad you did. trust me!

  7. if you had your first period 8 months ago, then its ok or it to come early until about a year after your first one until it gets on track. i have no idea what that thing was that you saw. try asking your mom. if she doesn't know that answer, try a doctor.

  8. uh...sounds gross...i read it in some doctor book when i was waiting for the doctor, but you gotta loosen up ur va...vag...you get it and you gotta get horny. uhuhuh im shivering

  9. stick your finger and i'm sure your find a hole. then do the same thing with the tampon. :)

    Good Luck!

  10. keep looking. i think maybe your looking at your g-spot?

first, look for the "flappy thing" at the top. haha. its pinkish and kinda shrivvled looking. go down from there. itll be only like a half an inch or something from there. try spreading it open with your fingers. you'll see a small hole. if you reach your butt hole its DEFFINATELY too far. haha. if you find the hole, just slide it in. its not hard to find, really.  just look up a diagram of the v****a on images or somethng if you still cant find it.

    good luck!

  11. I don't know what really is going on inside your body. However, I would advise you to go to your Doctor and tell him or her your situation. It could be something serious, or something normal. Hope this helps! :)

  12. my best friend had this same problem in 8th grade. i had to go over to her house, sit in the bathtub with the curtain closed, and read her step by step instructions. we finally figured out that she was trying to push the tampon straight up inside of her. you gotta put it up but kinda tilted like going towards your back. i hope it helps and it took her forever before we ever realized what was going on

  13. Hun, your vaginal opening is right behind you clitoris.  Just follow the fleshy bit between your "lips" and at the base of it (towards your butt) you will find the opening.  It can be really tough to put in a tampon, especially if you are a virgin and have never explored yourself.  I recommend you get to know your lower parts better by feeling around when you are not on your period.  Its important to know your own body and it will help you derive more pleasure when you become sexually active later in life.

  14. If you've never used a tampon or anything don't get tampax....it will not be comfortable....get kotex small....much better...and you might want to squat instead of standing because you definately won't find your hole when you're standing up....squat like when you pee outside....but don't use tampax! it will hurt when you pull them out LOL

  15. My advice is to feel rather than look.  Your v****a is about in the middle between your legs.  Starting at the top of it, you have the hood which houses the clitoris.  Then you have a tiny opening for urine to come out.  You probably won't see or feel this one.  Then a little farther back, you will have an entry that may not look open, but it is.  Place the tip there and push up and back slowly.  You don't want to push too hard because you may feel slight resistance if you are a virgin.  Just go slowly and continue pushing until the part you are holding is against the outside of the v****a.  Then push the inner part up and pull the applicator out.  That's all there is to it!!  Just try feeling your way rather than looking.  I find that helps.  I also sit on the toilet with legs spread when I insert a tampon.

  16. I think you should see a doctor. It might be it skin grew over it, but I don't think that's possible. ♥

  17. check your email sweety

  18. Go to an ob gyn they will be glad to show you the right place.

  19. i mean this in a nice way=====> can you ask your mom about this? you might get better help than from strangers on the internet

  20. It's often hard to use a tampon for the first time. Don't force it in and try to relax. You can't see the hole until it's opened, so just gently push it through the lips.  If this is still really uncomfortable for you, leave it til next month and do some basic yoga hip opening postures to help your passage widen.

  21. Gees. How graphic, well anywho it might just be a blood clot, nothing to worry about. it might help if you not try to look and "feel" (I mean with the tampon) where the hole is and then slowly slide it in in a 45 degree angle. Um and for the early period, they can be wacky sometimes so don't worry. Good luck.

  22. It may be that you have a very thick hymen that has just enough perforations (holes) in it to allow your menstrual blood to come through.

Try to see if you can ease a finger inside your v****a.  If you can't, then it's safe to assume that you just have a thicker than average hymen.  You can either break your hymen yourself if you want to use tampons (it doesn't hurt much) or you can continue using pads until it goes away on its own.  Most girls' hymens disintegrate on their own around the time they start menstruating.

  23. i think you should try to find it with your finger. theres a covering over the "hole" that can be pushed in, penetration can feel extremely wierd the first time and you will know, go fron the a**s there skin between your a**s and your v****a called the taint if you follow this inch of skin the next hole will be the one, i would read the packet that coimes with the tampon before going further. if u need any more help e-mail me at erytmyst@yahoo

  24. the hole is right under the fruit pit. try using a little more force when your pushing around...........eeeeewwwww...

  25. Well, I did read it and it is healthy and natural to get early or late periods. But also, For the tampon thing. Its your first time so it will be difficult as someone in your family that you know very well to help you out. If not, go to the doctor and talk to them about it they can help you out. Hope I helped!

  26. Firstly, It is ok that your period came a bit early. You're still a 'novice' when it comes to periods- they will usually flit around for the first 2 years. But even so the slightest things can alter your periods, weight, emotions, other women etc so nothing to worry about.

As for your other problem, the v****a isnt a naturally 'open' hole. The walls on the inside close in together to keep it protected but will move away at very slight pressure- i.e tampon, finger. I suggest you try with the mirror but just try to use your finger to feel for the v****a so you know where to insert the tampon. I dont know what else to say, it's likely you were looking right at it so persevere and you'll get it in the end.

  27. I had a health book for girls when I was younger. That is totally normal. You just have to kind of um...break it? [[I don't really know the correct wording for it.

Here is the link for the book:

    Hope it helps.

  28. that fruit pit looking thing is where the pee comes out of. A little below that, and a little above your b******e, you should find another hole. This is your actual v****a. Try feeling for it with you finger first, in a relaxed position, and once you've got it located, stick the tampon in at an angle, slightly upwards.
