I truly want to be clear on this. What are the "extra" rights that feminists want?

People on here say they are in favor of equal rights but they arn't feminists because feminists want extra rights. I don't believe either gender should have extra rights.

Maybe women are getting some extra privileges nowadays from the hands of the legal system. But I have yet to see a feminist who actually wants any of them. I'd define it as benevolent sexism.

The judicial system. Women get preferential treatment in criminal and family courts. Women rights organizations always come to the defense of female criminals when men have to go it alone.

Their fight for equal outcome. Women should have equal opportunity (and they do), but guaranteeing equal outcome is entitlement... And some say socialist.

Feminists are basically doing everything they can to make men obsolete in our society. Men are suffering and all we hear about is women's rights. Feminism only exists to delude themselves into believing that men are no longer necessary, even if it means slanting the playing field,.

Choices, men have but one choice, work till they retire.

a woman can now get knocked up in a school with child care, collect an income from the unsuspecting male and carry on with her education.

it seems that whatever a woman decides to do there is a saftynet paid for by the taxpayer. its like society see women as weak little victims who need all these special laws to keep them safe from all of lifes little mishaps.

how are women going to grow up and be accountable is they are mollycoddled like children and rewarded no matter what they do?

what about the rights to have men arrested for insulting them, the power to take the house if the husband raised his voice? there is now talk of closing down women's prisons. quotas, so many things.

ive lived in a feminized country and seen first hand how biased and sexist the family courts are.

They claim women are favored in family courts, which grant custody of their children to mothers.  

They claim Roe v. Wade disenfranchises men completely by eliminating fathers' rights.  Conservative religious groups are behind this one, as they push to weaken abortion rights.

They claim women are favored by the Violence Againt Women Act, because it has "Women" in the title means men aren't entitled to legal protection.  

They claim women are favored by affirmative action programs, and by federal aid programs designed to benefit female small business owners.

They claim funding to breast cancer research is highly discriminatory because more men get prostate cancer than women get breast cancer.  They conveniently ignore the fact that men get breast cancer as well.

They claim women are favored by rape laws which always assume men are guilty (they know women who claim rape are always lying).  The other day a poster here put up a story about a man in California who claimed he was raped by a neighbor, and who was laughed at by the police.  I researched that incident online.  The man's claim was taken seriously by the police, and was throroughly investigated by the s*x Crimes Unit as it would have been if the victim were female, and found to be without merit.  

These are just off the top of my head.  See, I do pay close attention to their rants.  I can even see that much of what they say makes sense.

But they don't comprehend that feminism has always been a grassroots movement.  Any gains it has made happened because women sat in their kitchens and talked about what was important to them and how they could change it.  Those who think women have "too many rights" don't actually DO anything on their own behalf.  It's just easier to whine and complain and hang out on websites with like-minded miscreants and tilt at windmills built by feminists.

It is simply this

It is the rights to have men pat them on the back as they man bash, whist pretend that they can do things that they clearly can not, and The Rights to never be challenged on those things

The rights to never produce a shred of evidence or facts for the many outrageous claims they make

The rights to ignore all evidence about any situation that proves anything disparaging whilst picking any obscure feeble Poll or writings as long as it goes along with whatever they are chanting, Cult like!!

It all adds up to nothing in the long run, and we really don’t care

We are very well educated, full of confidence about yourself and our gender, believe in total fairness to the point where the whiny idiots wont like, there won't be ANY privileges or preferential treatments from our generation.

Not in education, or sport, or employment or anything, every thing will start equal and those who do it best, just do it best, no male tennis and female tennis, just tennis. period

Ive no idea what these extra rights are either,whoever said that must live in a different country where women do have more rights, or they could be just making it up just as an excuse to attack feminists,but like i said i don't know.

On the Blog I Blame the Patriarchy the Blog owner advances the idea and assertion that any s*x with Straight Women is Rape. And that Men must be willing to place their lives in the largess of a Woman when having s*x. If she decides arbitrarily to file a Rape Charge he is automatically guilty.

This is all too often the mindset of Feminists. But the key issue is the unfair treatment of Men in our Culture and Government's erosions of all of our freedoms.

Example Fathers behind on Child Support are barred from leaving the Country, they cannot get a passport, even for Employment reasons. In June a bill was passed preventing US Citizens who retire and wish to expatriate from taking their assets over seas. They can go but their money and assets stay here. How are they supposed to retire? If they paid their Taxes why is their money being held hostage.

Where are these feminists everyone keeps talking about? I want the rights I have now. I don't want them to go away, so if someone threatens them, I will fight back. Done and done. The so-called feminists that I know fight for both men and women. They want those strange lines that we created for ourselves erased. We should all have roles, but we should be able to choose our role instead of being forced into because someone told us that's how it has to be. If I want to be a fire fighter, then ****, I'm going to be a fire fighter. It I want to stay at home and raise my kids, then I should have the right to. If my husband wants to be a nurse, then he should have the opportunity without getting strange looks from the empty, blinded people in our society. If he wants to stay home with the kids, then he should be able to make that choice and have the government back him up, just like it would for a woman.

And, there is still sexism. I'm not saying that our society is sexist as a whole, but it does exist. I have been harassed at my job on many occasions...by someone who is MARRIED. And so far, I have received very little help from HR, because they seem to think that he just doesn't know how to behave around women. By now, men should know not to ask for a kiss..especially in the workplace...especially when they are married. Having said that, men also face overt sexism day to day, just as women do. Just look at some of the people who look at a sensitive man and laugh. It's rampant in the construction industry. Big boys don't cry, after all.

Finally, I'd like to add that these single mothers who seemingly get amazing benefits for being single mothers? Where, when? Most single mothers are poverty stricken. In fact, single mothers are the face of poverty. Having a child with two working parents is hard enough. Having a child by yourself is even harder. I don't see the reward in that. And to me, it seems like the men get to continue living their lives if they impregnant a woman. They don't have to stick around...but the woman kinda does...I mean, she's the one who has to carry it around. Men can run off and submit a cheque once in a while to rid themselves of an unwanted child. Working in the construction industry...all I've seen is a bunch of runaway dads that don't want to pay for their mistakes. They avoid sending that tiny cheque at all costs. Women get the child and the financial responsiblities. Along with the extra trouble of finding their child's father for the monthly  cheque. It's disturbing.

I'm still looking for those extra rights that feminists want and use. I certainly haven't gotten any of them.

-I haven't taken advantage of the incredible benefits that supposedly come from "getting knocked up in a school with child care", nor have I "collected an income from an unsuspecting male and carried on with my education".

-I didn't have kids and paid for my degrees.

-I haven't used any "safety nets" paid for by the taxpayer-I've paid for the "safety nets" with my taxes and I'll be happy to help women and children get fed and have shelter-unlike some of the people here.

-I wonder how many of these people who frequent this forum even have a job that whine about the "benefits" women use. I guess men don't use any tax payer assistance of any kind? Only women get unemployment benefits and social security?

-Somehow missed out on having men arrested for insulting me-missed that law on the books too...will need to investigate that one. Jeez that would come in handy on YA GWS. I wonder if I can have women arrested for insulting me too?  

I don't live in a feminized country but I"ve seen first hand how biased and sexist our nation's political social and work environments are.
