I try to eat healthy snacks like fruit and veggies but it dosent?

stuff me for very long and then i just pig out on junk food. Why is this? What healthy foods make you stuffed for awile?? help!!!

  1. to feel full, your body judges it off how much starch it gets. If you want a full feeling, eat something whole grain. Have a whole grain PB and J sandwich, or eat a potato (dont load the spud with sour cream and cheese though).


  2. Well you're not suppose to "stuff up on anything acctrually"

    - Probably the fruits and vegetables you are consuming are low in carbs. What fruits and veggies are you consuming?

    Here's a good idea .. lets play 'substution recognitions'

    what can we replace french fries / chips with

    =

    potatoe! chips and french fries are made of "potatoes" but it just doesnt consume as much salt and oil as them!

    So a Potatoe with chives would be the 'check'

    Stick to lean meats! ( turkey, chicken, salmon, etc.. )

    Most filling foods have alot of carbs in them

    Here are some food with alot of carbs that fill you up with a per-size amount.

    - Banana

    ( gives you tons of energy especially for you're legs and is a great filling fruit, Recommended banana size would be finger length because the bigger ones have alot of carbs and it all adds up)

    - Apple

    ( apples, have alot of potassium, and alot of natural juices and sugars which are a very filling fruit. Once again I would reccomend a smaller apple over a bigger apple, because the calaries add up)

    - Salad

    ( get those veggies in! Here's you're time. have a salad with some fruits in it with a raspberrie vinagrette. OR have a salad with lean grilled chicken in it with cuccumbers, carrots, etc..)

    - Oranges

    ( Oranges contain lots of natural juices and suppliments which fill you up. It's alright to take a bigger orange they don't add up as much calaries)

  4. try eating something with protein with it. like have an apple or banana or celery with peanut butter. drink lots of water also cause you may be getting thirst confused with hunger.
