I try to find a site with information about plants in German?

in this site i would like to put the botanical name of the plants, insects e.t.c. and find how is the name in German and other information.

Hi Gardener,

The sites listed by the above respondents might work well for you.  However, one thing to keep in mind is that the scientific names of plants is Latin and universal.

If you take the scientific (Latin) name of any plant into any reputable nursery, they should be able to assist you.

Most plants and insects have sites in wikipedia. Therefore you may type in the scientific name+wiki, open the English site to see details and click on "German" in column "other languages" to find the German Name.
