  1. I think that feature has been turned off. I just put in advanced search women, 35-50 in Texas and got "no results found". yea there are no women in Texas that are 35-50.....lol

Maybe it's for privacy concerns, but all you would have to do is make your profile private. But what's the fun in that?

  2. The person you're searching for may very well have a private profile, unsearchable. This is their right, and if you really know the person, you'll just have to ask them some other way.

  3. No disrespect intended, but I feel lame answers like "maybe they're not listed" or "you're not doing it right," are manufactured answers and idiotic. If you do a search and don't specify anybody with photos or who is online -- d**n, common sense there are thousands of members on here and more than just some names will reasonably need to appear. WHY AREN'T THEY FIXING IT BY NOW? I just don't get it, and it's very annoying.

  4. The answer is simple - Yahoo couldn't possibly care less if they tried. This problem has been effecting the Member Directory off and on - mainly on - for a few years now. If you enjoy being super annoyed write to the Yahoo Member Help and sit back gobsmacked at the warm and fuzzy but in no way useful response you get. There will be a lot of babbling on about how the problem is being looked and is proving harder to resolve than was first thought. What there wont be is an actual solution to the problem nor any indication as to when it will be. Write to them a second or third time and be prepared to be ignored.

  5. u need to register/check yahoo messenger
