  1. You should try something else to help you sleep? You probably shouldn't use sleepaids to help you sleep at such a young age unless there's something wrong. Try being more active in the day so you are more tired at night. Or get a Serta, or take a hot bath, or meditate before bed. idk.

  2. This is not a lecture, but the truth: Medical marijuana may be legal in some parts of California, but it is still a violation of federal law. You are young - if this is the lifestyle you choose, you will be severely limiting your future options.

Have you have a full physical and seen a sleep disorder specialist?  believe the idea behind medical marijuana is that it is supposed to be a last ditch line of treatment for terminal cancer or serious degenerative diseases, that kind of thing. Many sleep problems are treatable in other ways.

  3. good luck.

  4. im for it, its all natural and it helps me sleep as well

  5. I'm a advocate for med cards, i know a lot of people that have it and use it, to help them with lack of sleep, eating, muscle pains, cancer, and so much more...i know medical marijuana works better for me then pain killer pills or any type of pill, and i don't do any other drugs, i personally don't categories pot as a drug i like to call it an herbal supplement! ;)

but because your young, you have to be extra careful, don't let your "pothead friends" if u have any use you for your med card...and don't let it become a habit and it does when you start using it as an escape...it all depends on the person and their personality, the pot itself is less harmful then aspirin!

statistics show: 1% have over dosed on aspirin

    0% over dosed on marijuana.

its a private thing, so just keep it that way and be responsible, good luck, and peace out! :)

  6. stupid, they will see right thru you. A doctor isnt going to just give this away to a pothead.

  7. well marijuana does have effects on sleep, but if you are really trying to treat a disease then perhaps you should try more conventional medicine that has been proven to work effectively.  even if you do decide you need the medicine it doesnt mean you cant get arrested for driving under its influence or that you can show up to work under the influence.  also if you do need marijuana for a medical reason it doesnt mean that the drug wont harm you and there are no sleep disorders that i know of that are worse than long term use of marijuana.  so your basically a drug addict who feels the need to convince himself that he isnt one

  8. its natural toke up

  9. Chris, do what cha gotta do to make you you!

Don't worry about what others think (wait, I'm answering you on Yahoo) it's your life and only your life.  I've read some of the INSULTING c**p that people write on Yahoo regarding pot and it's so depressing.  Smoke when you require and sleep restfully.  No one knows what you've gone through and are going through, so why should you care about those who look down their nose at you?

BTW "Cinnea" anyone who backs up their opinion with "the truth" on an issue that's still being studied, really needs to seek their truth.

  10. I think medical marijuana is a good idea. It does work. I have used it to give myself an appetite, sleep, get rid of depression (comes back but it goes away while high), lower my anger.....and so on. It really helps with lots of medical problems. I want to get it legally like this but I am nervous on how to approach a doctor about it. What place are you going to? Have you already talked to them? I live in So Cal too.

  11. Good Luck, a "Medical Marijuana" card is harder to obtain than you might think...

  12. You mentioned so-cal. San Diego and their pious right wing nut jobs are trying to circumvent the law and are currently trying to petition SCOTUS. I was very active in 1996 to get 215 on the ballot and hope that you will find a doctor who will prescribe it. Medical Marijuana has many benefits and clinical applications. Best of luck to you. (Happy B-D in advance)

  13. The effects of the m a r j u a n a are beginning to show already but I'm not giving you any advice as per your request.
