I uninstalled the sims on my windows vista 64 bit?

i have vista 64 bit and i uninstalled the sims life stories. i tried uninstalling it through control panel and it never made me go through the uninstall wizard. it deleted off the computer, but it didn't give me the 3 gb back on my hard drive! what should i do to get those 3 gigs?

Run the Ccleaner or delete all of it's files in the locale directory,         "'My Computer' / 'C:\' / 'Program Files' / 'EA Games' / 'The Sims 2' ".

Delete these files and empty recycle bin, remember if you have Ccleaner then fix the registy.
