  1. No longer than 3-5 minutes and sometimes less than that. If its slower than that i would call direct tv.


  2. You own a Satellite?  Wow, those things are expensive.

    Anyway, do you mean you unplugged your receiver?  When you plug it back in, you will have instant access.  Remember you're dealing with Digital.
