I unsubbed from a group and it's still on my group page. How do I remove it?

When I go to the group it asks if I want to join?? Why wasn't it taken off?

It might have been just another Yahoo hiccup that happens from time to time.  Please try doing this, I think it will solve your problem:

Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups

This will pull up a list of all groups in which you are a member. Since you say that group is still on your groups page, click "Edit My Groups" at the top of the page.  On the next page locate the group and click on the blank box on the far right "Leave Group" column.  Click Save Changes. Confirm.

You can also try thru the group's unsubscribe e-mail address which will look something like this: [e-mail]

It can also sometimes take a day or two for the change to be effective.

If trying to unsubscribe from the site or the group's unsubscribe e-mail address I would recommend getting in contact with the owner of the group thru the address that will look something like this: [e-mail] to let them know that you need help with unsubscribing from the list.
