I unsubscribed from a group, but I'm still receiving emails. Help!?

I decided to leave a Yahoo group I belonged to. I unsubscribed from this group 36 hours ago, and I'm STILL getting emails from them. I can't unsubscribe again because it no longer recognizes my address. How do I get the emails to stop?

If it no longer recognizes your address, you have been unsubscribed.  If the group is very active, it might take a few days to stop receiving emails from it.  Don't block messages from that group because it will cause your account to bounce.

Here is how you can unsubscribe from a Yahoo Group:

1.Try to unsubscribe through:

2. If this doesn't work out, send an e-mail to the group owner telling him/her to stop mailing you. ([e-mail])

If these still didn't work for you try the following options:

3. Block the address(es) or arrange your preferences so that they are sent to your bulk/spam folder.

attempting to unsub via proves to have a long delay- you'll both have to wait out the limbo time.

trying to unsub again wont help, and yahoo wont be able to either- you're stuck in server limbo, but eventually, it will go through
