I upgraded my ipod touch to 2.0 (yes i paid)

ok i just upgraded my ipod touch but then when i went to jailbreak it didnt work so i cancled it and now i need to restore my ipod ...if i restore it ? will i have to purchase the upgrade all over again?

it didnt work kuz you cant jailbreak 2.0 right now. when you restore it.. it should return to the original firmware

when you originally downloaded the 2.0 update as long as you still have the download in you pc it will redownload for free. if you dont have it because you deleted it from your purchased items folder then you may need to. Check the itunes default folder usually located in windows/my document/itunes. If its still there, then re import it inot the itunes library and when you restore the ipod itunes will automatically reinstall the most current ipod version minus the 2.0 update and when its down reinstall the 2.0 update. Sometimes itunes will recongnize your (or in my case my) device and will let redownload things for free sense you already paid for it but, at the same time, Ive had situation were itunes didnt. But, check the itunes folder if you have it there or still in itunes that your good to go. PS dont jailbrak the ipod touch after you download the 2.0 it wont work. There is a method for jailbreaking defore you download the 2.0 which will then allow you do download the update but I dont know how to do it. I just know its been done.
