Just my question. Doesn't matter what type of cd I try to make, weather it be a regular audio or mp3. I just have no clue how to fix any problems with my cd burner or even how to diagnose the problem. Someone please help!

  1. Most likely it is an issue with the amount of memory set up for burning.  If there is not a properly sized cache for the burning rom, then it may not be able to get past that point due to a space limitation.  In most cases, this is due to something else tho; in my experience (I am a webmaster and technical support guy) the majority of Nero issues are due to outdated drivers or unsupported drives, however - there are many possible issues here.  I don't want to fill this space with instructions, so here is a easy to use and very relevant link to the basic issues outside of what i've already shown.  Take a look and see what you think.  For the most part, the major issue to look for is the DMA enabling for your drive.  Here's the link, and best of luck!!!

  2. reinstall and check for virus

  3. Nero is garbage. Its too picky and has all kinds of glitches like this. I always had problems burning dvds with it. it would freeze up for no reason. I suggest you not use nero and tell as many people as you can the same thing. They are a rip off, putting a product out on the market that they didnt even fully test to make sure it worked for everyone under different settings etc. For burning cds you can use windows media player which is free or find one from these search results that is free.
