I use OZ on my blackberry pearl for AIM but it wont work,Help please?

Ok when i try to sign on AIM using "OZ" (after taking like 10 minutes) it says " Communication Error.Please try again or check your settings". What's wrong? What can i do to get it to work?

OZ requires a data connection to logon. It uses text messages for the conversations, but if you have no data plan or at least the option to use data on demand then it won't work. Check with your service provider to make sure your data connection is not turned off.
