I have very good city water. Sometimes the water spots are so bad it takes some serious scrubbing to get them off.

  1. Try using less soap. Sounds like you are getting soap "etching".

  2. ~~When you have water this hard, you need white vinegar to the rescue. Pour about an 1/8 of a cup on the door before closing and setting to run.  You will have sparkling dishes!~~

  3. Try using a rinse agent like Jet Dry.  I have used that for years, and no spots.  Hope this helps.

  4. You can fill your rinse agent dispenser with vinegar.

  5. Jet Dry seems to be the no-spot agent of choice...however, some people say white vinegar does the same thing at less cost.
