I use head and shoulders shampoo for dandruff?

and iv used it for quite a while...i dont have dandruff but im still using it..is it wrong..

Are you saying that you had dandruff and the Head and Shoulders took care of it? It's not doing any damage to your hair so you can use it if you like; there's nothing wrong with using it. You can always switch to another brand, and if the dandruff returns, go back to the H&S.

not exactly but you can over moisturize && those kind of shampoos are usually not for normal healthy hair

I use it too but I only use it 2-3 times a week. I use the 2 in 1 for dry scalp plus I use bain de terre conditioner after that. The other times I use biolage fortifying salon shampoo with the bain de terre conditioner. My scalp is no longer irritated, raw or flaking so I see nothing wrong with it. I would rather have a healthy scalp than perfect hair ends any day if it is even damaging my hair.

okay im a hairdresser and i hear about this almost everyday. all of those so called dandruff shampoos r really for dry scalp. dandruff is a waxy substance on ur scalp. u can pick at it. if it is dandruff go to ur doctor. if u dont have anything these shampoos will dry out ur hair. stop using it, for the sake of ur hair.
